WHAT'S M.A.D ABOUT?

Moore Analog Devices - My name is Connor R. Moore and this is my dream to create unique and intensely detailed analog equipment for musicians of all stripes. M.A.D is the fruit of 10 years spent tinkering, listening, and playing. I spent my childhood tearing apart CRT televisions and practice amps just to see how they worked, and modifying my guitars beyond recognition just to entertain my persistent need to inspire new musical ideas. Fast forwarding to my 20s, I spent some time working in the Fender Custom Shop building my chops as a luthier and had the opportunity to work with a handful of Master Builders including Carlos Lopez, now owner of Castedosa Guitars. Carlos commissioned me to design a ripping fuzz to be installed in his baritone guitars. What came out of this joint effort was the La Raza octave fuzz and an apprenticeship under his guidance, putting these circuits in the hands of artist such as Josh Klinghoffer and Eddie Vedder to name a couple.

To me the most rewarding feeling is spending months tuning an amp or a pedal, getting them in the hands of garage rockers and professional musicians, and seeing them get lost in the sounds. That moment is where my passion for this all comes from and is what's made it my goal is to spend the rest of my life tirelessly designing interesting devices with utmost quality to spark a musicians own need for new sounds and inspirations.

Thank you for joining and supporting me on this journey.
